The idea of this section is to give you some basic knowledge on how to build you char. When I was a new player, I always wonder how many STR or INT I
needed? What Stats should I put? Did I put in the correct stats? Does my Knight need INT? You may be able to find some answers here.
In Iruna, there are many ways to build a char. I do not think there is such thing as the strongest char. Each person has some strengths and some weakness. I
would try to collection some "Knew to be good" or popular way to build your char, and put in here. You can read it for your reference. If you have any new
idea. Feel free to add it here as well.
Throwing Knife Assassin (Skill, gear, calculation) - By Zef
Backstab Assassin is kind of rare in iruna. The skill, build and gear is kind of complicated to combine and calculation
Due to the Assassin Skill always involve of CRT rate, CRT DMG, ASPD, Evasion. With the more and more weapon, gear, Xtal available. It is hard to build a
perfect assassin without multiple reset.
Note:
Each AGI +1 EVA
1 AGI + 1.833 ASPD

This is my ninja note since most ppl go ninja now. I try to get so many infos about it and confirmed before i post this. And here is the result.
Mainly, there are 2 types of ninja game play throwing and claw. But im just gonna post bout claw ninja. The game play:
Claw : clones>make 9 clones > wild dances
The build r agi crt as main build. These type of ninja only make good use of clones, wild dance, and passive skills. No others skills needed for this type of
ninja.
As for dmg, it also means u can raise ur dmg mostly by stats since this type ninja require kodachi w ganei, swarchtz un up or other armor w ganei, any add
w ganei, and crt ring. That means u only can put xtal on swarchtz up or ring. U stuck with this kind of set up for the rest of the game. Same set and same
gameplay no matter what updates r released.
Optimizing wild dance for better dmg.
Wild dance is like u attack together with ur clones. So, more clones means more dmg and raising ur dmg means more dmg when doing wild dance. For that
u will need to max ur agi and str while keep having proper crit rate.
Playing with crt stats
For crt based chars, i say 80% is the least u must have. Without any crt boost from xtal or gear, u need 210 crt. But this stats may change when u equip crt
boost stuffs. U can have 180 crt when u put himmel on ur swarchtz un up. U can have 200 crt when u use devil horn as add and so on.
While having less crt but still getting proper crit rate, it means that u can add more points to agi or str so u can deal more dmg with wild dance.
So, agi crt and then str after u max ur agi if u r a claw ninja. Happy dancing!
Samurai Note - By Onileira
Here is my report fo samurai class. Im just lvl 101 but i hope this info will help u if u goin to make samurai.
There are issen skill that like hard hit but it can crit. Its a nice skill since samurai have buff to raise crt based on lvl (im lvl 101 so +101 crt). So in the future,
like lvl 180 with all ur gears u might have 80% crit rate chance with no crt added. (60% from buff, 10% bsse crit rste chance, 10% from shiroito) in short u
dont need to have crt. Finishing move can make u able to deal 20k+ dmg easily as long u have 140 str and +7-8 weapon (my current stats) and i deal 9k with
issen at crit.
The game play u do as a samurai crt buff, tsubame gaeshi (counter againts physical attack only), like provoke skill, issen, finishing move (becareful since ur
weapon will degraded if u use it)
Good point using m sword and go like chant build (int agi dex as main) = able to spamming issen
Why low agi? Bcoz with tsubame gaeshi u can counter physicsl attack and issen give u more dmg than ur normal attack (the gap is like 4-5k when u deal crit
at issen)
Why dex? Issen have long cool down so dex will help u by cut it. In addition u get more dmg by adding dex Why int and vit? Bcoz u need mp to able spam
issen and keep having crt buff, at boss fight u might need to use pots for healing ur self so having considerable amount of vit and int is good. 60 for both is
my prefference.
Assassin note - INT, AGI, CRT vs AGI, CRT Assassin - By Onileira
This is maybe already obvious but i think its still important for those who still unable to decide to choose between goin to be ninja or stay as Assassin with
claw.
Agi crt Assassin tbh only make use of evasion, hawk eye, invincible, and sukia (counter move that activated when u able to dodge or evade attack) other
skills will deal less damage compare to Assassin with int agi crt and use throwing weapon. In addition they weak againts magic since claw have magic
resistance minus and lower chance of dodge magic attack since illusion based on int.
Int agi crt have benefit in optimizing all evasive chance since u have agi and int for both magic and physical attack. The only problems wuth this build r
lower dmg when using backstab (if u want to optimize backstab u need str int dex/crt)
Why agi crt still can deal good dmg when using backstab?
They deal good dmg becoz they have high attack and crt dmg these 2 factors are what your backstab based on. All agi and crt makes ur build all for
optimizing that 2 factors by the sacrifice of magic resistance and magic eva u lost bcoz u have no int. With int agi crt u can deal almost the same dmg with
lower risk and higher survivability.
The key for having great dmg is on the perfect combinations of ur stats, gears, and xtals and skills. This is what i suggest to one of my friend since she have t
knife with 2 slot and sloted spec eq.
I told her for maxing int, having agi as much as she like, and add the rest for str or dex for dmg or skill delay (no crt added) and put all himmel xtal on her
gears.
Why?
With 5 himmels, she got crit rate+50 (himmel stats is eva+5% crit rate+10) and crit rate+30 from her t knife.
That means she have 85-90% crit chance without any crt added and all from xtal. If she use swarchtz or t garb up she already reach max chance with 0 crt.
When she maxed both int and agi, she will have higher eva chance (she got +25% eva from xtal and+12% from t knife) while able to optimize all Assassin
skills.
Low ATK weapon VS High ATK weapon comparison - By Onileira
Shocking truth finally revealed. Say bye bye buying high attack weapon bcoz it doesnt mean so much. I compare 2 sickle with 140 attack145 attack and
making it both to+7. I found out that they only have 7 gap between 140+7 and 145+7, i assume they wont have more than 12 points at +9 and it also means
that a +9 weapon whatever the attack is will give u better attack stats than high attack +8.
In short, dont mind in having high attack if u cant refine it well. I know that 7-12 points of difference will affect ur dmg, the question is does it really worth
that much?
For example s rod 155s and s rod 160 s they have more than 4m difference. 155 s is like 3m and 160s is 7m
minimum. Is 4m really worth that much for u? (put in mind that 155+9 will give u more attack than 160+8)
Be a smart buyer, just like the warning said "watch out for scam" when u try to do trade. XD
Warrior > Knight > Gladiator:
Introduction:
This is one of the most popular Knight > Gladiator build. The char would use "Claw/Nail" type weapon. In this case, AGI would provide you Attack, Attack
speed and EVA. The CRT would increase your chance to Critical Attack and Critical damage multiple. Also, you never get a "miss" with Critical attack. Once
your Critical Attack built up. All of your attack are critical attack, so you won't miss. It is a very high speed killer. VIT is optional. Some people may choose
to put a little VIT, and some people may choose to skip VIT completely and choosing to be a Pure AGI/CRT character. It's hard to say what is right. Since it is
my main char, I know it well. I love my build with VIT at 20 with the rest of the stats all in AGI and CRT.
How to increase your stats:
Stage 1: AGI to 140
Stage 2: AGI stays at 140, CRT to 210.
Stage 3: CRT stays at 210, and go back to AGI until AGI Max.
Stage 4: Go back to CRT until CRT Max
- You can put some VIT whenever you think it is needed, but I would suggest not to over 30.
- You do not have to follow exactly with this Stage path. AGI 140 was known as Max Attack Speed for Claw.
It is recommend to AGI 140 first.
- CRT takes a long time to see its good. At CRT 210, you should see over 90% of your attack being a critical attack. I felt it is high enough. That's why it is the
time to go back to AGI for more EVA. (If you felt like you need more EVA, you may choose to go back to EVA earlier.)
Equipments
General good equipments:
Weapon: any claw type weapon as Claw, Sickle, Fire Claw.
Armor: Pao, T-Garb, Schwartz. (anything you can get, but these 3 and their upgraded version are more fits.)
Additional: Noir, white wing
Special: Gauntlet, leather glove
My Full Attack Set:
- Sickle Slot Colon Boss
- Schwartz slot Colon Boss
- Noir slot Aello
- Wisdom Earrings slot Colon Boss
My full HP Set for tanking boss:
Weapon: Claw Slot HP11%
Armor: upgraded Iron Armor slot HP 11% (or upgrade Chainmail)
Additional: Bunny Ear (Slot HP 11%)
Special: Seahorse Bangle
Key features of this build:
- With attack set, you can kill really fast on farming monsters. Therefore, you can level very fast. In most cases, it should be faster than the higher dmg Wiz.
- With attack set and VIT 20, my char only has 2680 HP at level 150. A regular mob for leveling may hit me around 800- 1000HP. 3 hits, and I am death. The
super low HP is due to the use of Schwartz Armor which reduce 30% of
HP. It's the best attack armor for AGI/CRT build, but you need to judge if your level is good enough to put it on. No point to use it if you are going to keep
dying. 2680 HP is enough for me where I use revita L once HP belong 1500.
- With HP set, my HP can boost to 11000 with HP set and Warcy at level 150. This is good enough HP for tanking most of the boss in game. - This build is the
fastest killer. Also, a fast solo leveling class. However, there is no good way to recover HP other than Revita L. It is not a good class if you are looking
forward to solo on Boss killing. At higher level, I can solo all bosses before wibo and FG by using Revita L. However, it could cost me a lot Revita L. Also,
there are good chance to die by accident.
- On Controlling, it is the easiest. Unlike playing a Wiz class that needs to hit a magic button everything. You hit Attack once, and you will continue to hit
until the monster died. With high critical rate and high double hit rate, all attack skills are kind of useless. You have a few buff that you can use. The Warcy
seems to be the most important one to keep it on. All other buff are kind of no one care much.
Warrior > Knight > Paladin: AGI/DEX/VIT - Special Tank build
This is YW. This build is some kind of crazy idea that I came up with.
Personally, I am not interested in building a TANK. But, I saw a few friends having hard time to level up a Tank as Tank build are slow killer.
In General, the most popular TANK build is Warrior > Knight > Paladin: with VIT/INT set up - using a level up ratio of 2 VIT 1 INT. However, it seems
most of them having a hard time to level up their character. That's why I was thinking if it could make a TANK, but still giving the TANK good killing
speed.
P.S.> This suggestion is purely by using the formula from JP Wiki. I am not interested in making a TANK.
So… use this
suggestion on your own risk. A few of my friends are making Tanks… but it seems they had a hard time once MQ ran out.
Leveling a Pure tank is a headache… Even VIT/INT tank is a pain. If it is so hard to get a TANK to level, their function would be very limited… After all, a
"Deleted" Tanker cannot really tank anything.
I used the formula to see if there is any good combination of HP and some ability to level as solo. Then, I came up with the following idea…
A more reasonable build of Tank could be:
Level 120 Stats goal:
AGI: 70
DEX: 120-150
VIT: 150-180
Farming and leveling Equipment set:
- Rapid Fire Upgrade (79 Atk, +50% atk speed, Crt rate +15)
- Schwartz armor (Crt rate +10, Crt dmg + 10%… forgot its atk.)
- White wing… (AGI 10, VIT and INT)
- Thimble (+1 Atk on each Dex)
HP and Boss tanking Set:
- HP 1000 sword (No idea on its name)
- Upgraded Iron armor (HP 1000)
- Bunny ear
- Seahorse (HP1500)
- Whatever HP% crystal that you can get.
Reason behind this build:
When you put Attack set ON:
- 600+ attack, No issue with Miss as you have high DEX, 30% chance of Crticial hit, almsot max atk speed.
When you put HP Set ON:
- I am not too sure how much HP you can get with HP set on… I would expect something around 18k~20k
HP.
Explain of ATK Speed:
- Expected aspd at 334 on attack set. (69+84*1.83333)x1.5 = 334.5 where 69 is bow based aspd. A total of 84 AGI becasue 4 AGI from knight class, 10 AGI
from white wing, 70 AGI from stats. 1.5 is rapid fire's +50%. (362 is the max atk speed for bow. You are very close to max.)
Explain of ATK:
- Dex 150 x 3 = 450 Atk with Thimble.
- Weapon expect at +8 to give 120 ATK
- Schwartz and character would have some base attack, so it should pass 600.
- You are flexible on using any crystal you have access with… whether you want to further increase atk, crt, or atk speed.
Additional advantage…. The best final weapon for Tank is a special sword which is not released yet. Special Sword each VIT +2 atk and each DEX +1.5 atk.
With this build, you may not need to reset at all if it was finally released.
Order of the Stats when leveling:
- I would suggest to do in order of AGI then DEX then VIT. At lower level, only put VIT when you need. AGI and DEX first could help the speed of your
leveling.
Notes
- I do not recommend new player to build a Heavy tank as 2 VIT 1 INT. You may get bored.
- Even with this build, it would require using of particular equipment. If it is your first character, you may not be able to get the equipment of what you need
to build it.
Suggested tank built for Paladin: INT > VIT > DEX (By Onileira)
Paladin, means a tank? Nope. Paladin is the name of knights who protect bishop, the knight of church (thats why they have heal). But to make one, its a pain.
I meet with many players who face hardships in making one. It's not because the build is hard to make, but they hard to level up. Well, that's happen because
they deal low damage, slow attack and totally cant do anything by itself. My main is paladin and i still can solo atg, i even can solo most bosses with my
current build so far only beelzed, matadora, ardent, schlingel and anubites. Here are my personal guide to make a paladin with no reset and have good
damage.
In my personal experience, the base for paladin is
Vit : 60 (minimum) or 100(recommended)
Int : 100 (u can get around 800-900 heal with it) or 200 (1k heal)
Agi: 15 (skill user, enough to fill the gaps between 2 heals or hard hit) or 60+(for hitter)
Dex: 50 (dex is just an option, feel free to ignore it i will give the explanation later)
You can also make the agi at 1, since using hard hit to kill is better.
You can put the points you have to your liking then. Add vit if you want more hp, or int fo better heal, etc.
The stuffs you may need to get:
Plate armor - it have physical resistance to help tanking with low vit Iron armor up - just in case u need more hp
Lava mail up - magic counter (means more damage you dealt, ps: for less int based)
Blauncher - to increase your agi, vit, and mp bonus
Schmuk - reflect and atk+%
Stier up : for tanking purpose
Gauntlet or gauntlet+
Sea horse bangle
Raptor earring (atk+6%)
for weapons you will need :
At least 2 kind of magic swords
Throwing weapon
Bow, magic bow
Special swords
For crystal :
Any hp % for tank set
Blauzen - for mdef and casting heal faster
Kaiser, matadora
Schlingel or wiza
Bongea for those who go reflect type
For the best weapon, it will be both special swords and magical weapons. With special swords 1 vit and 1 dex = 3,5 atk and with magic swords 1 int and 1
dex : 3,5 atk. So, if you have the same amount of vit and int (note : u have dex) then switching between them is ok.
To be noted :
Int is a must for paladin. With int, you will have mdef, higher heal, more mp to use skills and for some weapon it gives attack
Why dex is an optional?
Well you dont need any dex if you want to getting damage by hard hit or exchange it with hit+ xtal. But for me, i choose dex.
Dex gives benefit not only for hit and casting speed but also damage for magic swords, magic bow, bow, swords, and throwing weapon. All the weapons i
mentioned above, except special swords, get damage from int and dex.
That means, you can always switch your weapon with the one that gives better damage or higher attack.
Paladin dont have any weapon mastery, so changing between one type of weapon to another wont affect you much. Thats why i make my char able to switch
weapons.
Stage 1 (lv 1-50)
Don't put any to your vit at this stage since it doesnt mean much. Prioritize in getting good damage to leveling. At this stage you can't do much and always
need help for mq. So, its better to raise ur int to get a good damage. Just get ur int to 100 and u can add vit, dex, or agi for with the leftover points. (50-60 agi
is all u need to do dw)
Stage 2 : lv 51-80
All you have to do now is get a good damage so u can solo atg, tank fg, or at least not slowing your party.
Time to raise your vit.
Stage 3: lv 80+
Now, try to reach the stats i mentioned above and make it to your own liking. Better damage, better tanking, or whatever kind of paladin you want to be.
PS:my curent build have max int, and i have 1k+attack in status, 800+ mdef. I think its better to have it.
Easier leveling in making paladin:
Max int type
get max int and use magic swords or throwing weapon and other stats u need like dex for hit or stuffs like hit xtal. If you use magic swords, your hard hit
should be enough to leveling. If you use throwing, u will need some agi to cover up. 60 will do.
Dex type
Use this way to reach the stats only if you are fine with having dex. Reach dex 50, then work on int. Make dragon arrow from dragon fang (u can play as app
hunter till you feel good enough switching back to knight so you will have better damage with arrow) that will make u have good damage.
Throwing weapon way :
Get max int, agi at 60 then work on the rest.
NOTE:
THIS IS A MUST IF YOU CHOOSE EASIER WAY TO LEVEL UP IN MAKING PALADIN WITHOUT ANY
RESET!
Get your vit to 40 and make tank gear. You will have around 10k hp that way.
Paladin with max int can give more damage, if you preffer more hp you can put more to vit, use reflect set (lava mail up, schmuk, magic swords or shamsir
as weapon, rose ring slot if u can manage get one) and put bongea xtal in every of it.
With all bongea u can get more than 15% reflect (shamsir equipped) if a wiz cast reflects on u it will make 45%+ reflects.
Keep on healing yourself and ask for mp if u need it.

Mage > Cleric > Monk: INT/AGI/CRT - Special Monk build
This is a special Monk build by YW calculation.
In general, most monk build in Iruna are focus on AGI/CRT with a little INT. In their middle level, they got the name as a cleric, but they cannot really do
much healing.
Most people think of Monk because of the CLAW. Since Monk is the designed class using claw. However, my special Monk build do not even use claw. Also,
it gave a balance between Killing and Hitting. At higher level, it only gave up a minor amount of attack, but gain a large sum of healing ability and MDEF
abililty. The basic weapon is using Claw with ability to using Magic Weapon.
If you know me in forum, you may know I like to calculate stuffs… so, I have heavily calculated my monk build before I started it… wahahahaha…. It's only
going to be a good monk by theory only… I haven't really completed my Monk yet…
So… choose to build this Monk by your own risk.
Stage 1 (Level 1 to Level 47.3):
- Int to 150
- All the rest stats stays at 1.
- This is the same build as an INT mage
Stage 2 (Level 47.3 to Level 89.67):
- Int stays at 150
- Agi to 128
- All the other stats stays at 1.
Explain: With 150 Int, you are a Cleric at this stage.
- Yes… You are kind of weak here.
- With heal 2, you can heal around 2200.
- With Priest staff and Prist hat, you can heal around 2600
- You have around 1100~1400 MP.
- Well… you are not the best cleric, but okay to perform a cleric job.

Once this stage ended you have INT 150 and AGI 128.
You can equip with the following:
- Throwing Knife (I assume a HP crystal or whatever) = Crt rate + 30, eva + 10%
- Schwartz with Sharpness (I assume Shanpress 1) = Crt rate + 10, Crt dmg +15%
- Noir sloted with Aello = CRT 10, AGI 7, Crt rate +5%
- Evil ring = 10% Atk speed
Adv:
- You are at maximum attack speed of 355 of Throwing weapon
- You have 50% chance on CRT hit.
- If you put this Attack set on, you are a Monk with physical attack.
- On atg, you can attack. At the same time, you can heal the entire party easy.
- You put a Healing set on, you can go boss as a Cleric to heal 2600 easy. (I don't have any xtal as Roar yet…)
Compare with Monk build of 50INT 140 AGI and 89 CRT on same attack set using Sickle and guantlet:
- Chance of crticial hit is the same as Sickle monk. But your Crtical rate is lower due to your crticail dmg multipler lower.
Also, 30 atk difference on Guantlet…
- If Sickle monk hits 1297, my monk expect hit 1121 on critial hit.
- On ability to heal… You heal at least 800 more HP.
Stage 3 (Level 89.67 to Level 120)
- Int stays at 150
- Agi stays at 128
- CRT goes to 92 at Level 120.
Explain:
- Since you are monk, going to use physical attack. You need crtical to good %.
- With 92 CRT, you got 82.5% chance of critical hit.
- Since App. Monk start to have Monk skill allowing monk to increase attack by 1 Int = 0.8 attack.You will get a bigger boost with higher INT.
Compare with Monk build of 50INT 150 AGI and 170 CRT on same attack set using Sickle and guantlet:
- Chance of crticial hit is SAME.
- If Sickle monk hits 2318, my monk expect hit 2186 on critial hit. (I don't know How much attack "Master of Claw" given…
But if it is not a ton, it would only have minus affect.)
Stage 4 (Level 120+)
- Agi stays at 128
- CRT targets 120
- INT targets maximum
Explain:
- After Level 120, 1 INT really mean 2.8 atk to you. Comparing with Claw AGI Monk, 1 AGI is 2 atk.
- You will have lower EVA, but you can heal a hell lot better. Basically, you are a 90% Cleric plus 90% of attack of a claw monk once your INT is high easy.
- I won't expect this monk to attack to pass claw monk until newer Monk skill released.

P.S.> It's not completely tested… Use at your own risk…
As of 8/26/2013, my monk is at level 91. It got 50% of chance to hit critical. With CRT attack can do 1100 on Gano in ATG. Its EVA is higher than an AGI
140 char. It can heal around 2200 HP on attack set. Around 2600 per heal when it switched to tank/healing set with around 5000 HP to perform the job as a
full cleric. On solo, its MP never ran out. On partying with tough boss, a Wiz may need to charge my char for MP.

Mage Levelling Guide (By Ame)
Dear guys
this is the best levelling guide which I've discovered so far. (applicable for Mage only) ^^
lvl 1-20 : with good weapon (odium/pstaff) , ull make it in 1 hour
lvl 20-30 : rokoko plain , start farming Broken staff here. fill ur whole inventory and storage nothing but b.staff. once u reach lvl 30, the quest is nlock,submit
the bstaff. (back then i got lvl 30-43 for my first submit)
lvl 30-50 : find a party at Bstaff ( highly preferable u guys shud do it together) , and farm n farm. if ur hardworking enough , u can get 1-50 in a day.
lvl 50-70 : once u reach 50, change ur job into app cleric/wiz. the best and fastest way to level is complete ur main quest.
yea u cam complete it in a day and get to 70 right away or u can do Army of Darkness quest (AoD) , at Wibo city ,talk to sauro. this quest is hard, u cant solo
it since its boss farming quest. i highly suggest u guys to do sauro quest collecting 60 sauro medal n trade for bunny ear which give +10vit n high hp since
were mage class short of hp ^^
70 : congrat! ur a full wiz/cler. from 70-80 : farm minotaurus at sofya maze. highly suggested for wiz since u own a drain skill now. u can solo mino. cleric
can level here, but its quite hard (if u solo). since ur damage is lower n slow casting
speed. but np if u hv a party. or u can do AoD. ( the exp different is just d same between AoD and Minotaur)
80-135 (max level cap): Awaiting the Goddes quest which me n eva doing now. this quest highly favor wiz n cleric ^^ *at level 110,u can start doing
Ardent,the best goldmine.each quest give u medal+ , collect 20 medal+ and trade for blancheur(white wing like eva has) or sell it for 2.5-3.5m.
